Welcome to Canadian Veterinary Hospital Management
A dedicated organisation made by and for members of the Canadian pet health community.
Our mission is to help hardworking veterinarians and hospital administrators upgrade their animal hospitals from the inside out, with your growth goals in mind.
Many veterinarians share a dream of owning their own practice one day, but they are often faced with a discouraging reality. A successful veterinary practice relies on different sets of management expertise, in addition to the specialised medical knowledge learned in veterinary education. We’re here to help guide and support veterinary practice owners so they can stay focused on helping pets.
Amidst customer service concerns, business licence and certificate requirements, hiring and training new staff, and the need to play the role of both doctor and HR, it’s not uncommon for veterinary practice owners to make costly mistakes and/or experience burnout.
With a sobering recent study showing that 26.2% of Canadian veterinarians have contemplated suicide, we know that many veterinarians can suffer from being overwhelmed and overworked, and as a result their team members and patients suffer too. We’re here to support you!
May we propose a different reality?
When you partner with CVHM, we become an extension of your team and are dedicated to helping you run your practice efficiently. We help divide up the many roles you have been juggling so that you can get back to doing what you really want to do: helping pets and the people that love them.
Whether you’re looking for a team to help you manage your practice entirely, or for consultations to help ensure you’re following local HR protocols, Canadian Veterinary Hospital Management wants to help you run your practice the way YOU have envisioned.
In addition to business management support, we also specialise in recruitment for veterinary professionals who want to relocate or who need to hire additional team members.
